Grand Chief Joel Abram and Communications Coordinator Ira Timothy, both of the Association of Iroquois and Allied Indians explore topics with an Indigenous perspective to help educate people on topics that range from political to cultural.
It is the hope that the show will assist in eliminating stereotypes, common misconceptions and help to make people aware of issues from our view point in a way to make it easy to understand and explain.
Grand Chief will have guests from various Indigenous experts from Chiefs to professors, and all walks of life who can help speak on variety of topics.
Sharing a time slot with Our Stories (when not available), Words & Culture weaves conversations with Indigenous language and knowledge keepers together with music by Indigenous artists. The team creating this original content is made up exclusively of Indigenous producers, hosts, and guests.
