Proudly broadcasting from Fanshawe College in London, Ontario, we are CIXX-FM.  Monday through Saturday, we play contemporary upbeat jams to help you get your body moving.  On Sundays, we play an eclectic mixture of music styles, and local talk programming to move both your body and your mind.

As Canada’s first instructional/educational radio station, launched on October 31, 1978, 106.9 The X is operated entirely by the students enrolled in the Broadcasting – Radio and Media Production, and Broadcast Journalism  programs at Fanshawe College.  It’s our goal to operate a high-end, revenue generating, college radio station that provides our students with real world work experience while meeting our advertisers’ marketing objectives, and, reflecting the community we serve.
