Adam Boqvist is a Chicago Blackhawks prospect. He is also a young man from Sweden, he has heard of the famous teddy bear toss but never witnessed it. What better way to witness your first teddy bear toss than by making it happen.
That was the last time the combination of cute and fluffy would be seen in this game.
The Knights knew coming into this game that they had a winning streak to lose. Meanwhile, the Sarnia Sting were looking to avoid a losing streak. The Perfect mix to create an intense game and utter chaos. Or you can look at it as a perfect way to begin a new friendship (Rivalry). It was smooth sailing to kick off the second period but, it got ugly in a hurry. The Sting were always there to push back in the last 40 minutes of the game. The Knights finally had a real test for the first time in quite a while… They didn’t seem to like that. There were penalties left and right, scraps after almost every single whistle, it was what most people would call a “Throwback to old time Hockey”.
The Knights had a lead and eventually gave it up. Their Problem wasn’t keeping the lead it was getting it back. Sting goaltender Ethan Langevin was stellar he stopped 40+ shots in the 6-3 loss but, it could have been a lot worst.

Discipline was no where to be found for either sides… Momentum definitely was in attendance, it favoured the Knights. The Knights have had a no quit attitude from the moment they began their winning streak. Tonight was the same story, there was no way they were leaving the rink without coming out of there with the win. Like mentioned earlier Sarnia eventually made it 3-3. That didn’t matter because, the Knights would use the momentum they had been building up all game and strike 2 more times. Antonio Stranges was back in the lineup after being scratched against the Erie Otters. He came back in a big way… not only did he break the tie he scored the “Mac Attack” goal and the building went nuts! It was a good comeback game for him.
Evan Bouchard is not known to make his presence felt by using his physicality but, it was a different story. It was evident throughout the game that he was not happy with the officiating. So, he took matters into his own hands. After a puck battle in the corner he was getting pushed around by a player from the Sting. He noticed no call was going to be made so, he throws a sucker punch that caught everyone by surprise. That would earn him a trip to the penalty box for 2 minutes. Once the Penalty expires, he took matters into his hands once again… by roofing the puck past Langevin and giving the Knights a two goal lead with time slowly running out. Alec Regula would eventually put in the empty net goal to give the Knights their 14th consecutive win with a final score of 6-3.
The game might not have gone the way they would have liked it too but, a win is a win.
“We have to tighten up if we want to keep this winning streak alive but, we won so I guess that’s still good.”

The London Knights avoided a loss, made some new friends (Sparked a rivalry), they’ll look to tune their game a little bit, and get ready for another test when they’ll take on the Kingston Frontenacs on Friday December 7th at Budweiser Gardens.
