On Friday June 6th, The Factory will be open for business, with so many activities to take part in. From a 20,000 square foot trampoline park with lights, the tallest ropes course in North America at 75 feet and ziplines, a kids playground where infants to the age of 12 can play, virtual reality with 50 games available at any time, 7 different leveled escape rooms, a warrior course with a backward treadmill, to a huge 100 plus game arcade, there truly is something for everyone.
Safety is a big factor for The Factory, and to ensure that everyone is safe, Angela Hawkins, the Marketing Manager, explains that the staff has to go to through 50 hours of safety training. The ropes course is especially the most dangerous, or so it seems, but Hawkins explains that it’s incredibly safe.
“It seems scary, but it’s very safe. We’ve invested in a state of the art click it system, so what it does is once you’re clicked in, you can never click out. So we can unclick one, but the other one will not let you click out. We’ve invested in this technology to ensure that everyone is very safe.”
In the future, they’re hoping to add in electric go-karts and even laser tag.
The Factory opens at 9:30 on Friday. All you need is to be over 18, or have a parent/guardian with you. Prices are online at www.thefactorylondon.ca.
