Extended bus routes and more frequency are just some of the things London transit is looking to improve this year. Katie Burns Manager of planning services at London Transit talks about one specific route change that helps Fanshawe students.
“specificly for fanshawe one of the biggest changes that we made was having a direct service from Fanshawe College to Masonville Mall”
Burns adds that the only complaints she has heard about the new 25 bus route is that why it didn’t come sooner. Along with this London Transit has also extended times for the express buses, allowing them to run later in the day and also have weekend service for Londoners to take advantage of.
Burns went on to say that they have already started the 2018 service plan that includes weekend service, base service and possibly more route changes. Burns was asked if a possible bus from Fanshawe College directly to Western University is a part of the talks and she replied saying that it is always a topic that is brought up year by year.
