The City of London has released the results of its 2024 Resident Satisfaction Survey. The Resident Satisfaction Survey gathered insights from 500 residents aged 18 or older between September 16 and October 6, 2024.
Homelessness remains the top concern for Londoners, with 55% of respondents identifying it as the city’s most pressing issue, followed by high interest rates and traffic congestion at 19% each. Despite these challenges, 75% of residents rated their overall quality of life as good or very good, and 74% expressed satisfaction with the level and quality of City services. Additionally, 92% of those who had contact with City staff reported positive experiences, an increase from 88% in 2023.
The survey’s findings will help guide the City’s decision-making and align with the goals of the 2023-2027 Strategic Plan. Mayor Josh Morgan emphasized that the survey is a crucial tool for understanding residents’ priorities and addressing key concerns. The annual survey allows Londoners to voice their opinions on important local issues, providing valuable feedback to ensure that City services meet the needs of the community.
