The London Children’s Museum located at 100 Kellogg Lane is still waiting on 4 million before opening to the public.
XFM reporters visited the unfinished building today and spoke to Kate Ledgley the executive director at the scene to ask her what are some of the some of the challenges the company is facing with the moving of the children’s museum.

Kate says ” the pandemic really delayed the project”.
Kate continues to say “we have been able to secure significant amount of funding to date even with those inflationary increases”.
“We worked really hard to do as much kind of value engineering and managing of the budget as possible”
“we really didn’t want to compromise the community’s vision for what the space is going to be”.
XFM news also asked her what is needed to finish this project in the projected amount of time?
Kate says “we urgently need a million dollars in order to get our doors open”.
Kate goes on to add “right now we are appealing to the community to help us close that Gap to businesses to individuals who may want to put their name on something leave a legacy and just help us get the doors open”.
“we don’t want to delay it any further and the sooner we can get in here, the more we can better serve Children and Families, serve more children and families and have them have the experience that really they need to have in this new more accessible space”.
