The SoCon is an event for people interested in building a sober community and connecting with those who have a similar commitment to health, wellness, and happiness.
The organizers aim for both businesses and participants recognize the importance of promoting drug and alcohol-free environments.
“This will be a friendly space where you can learn about resources and connect with others. There will be various vendors, games, music, food, lemonade, and giveaways. The FSU will be there and continue to promote all events for the well-being of students and the London community,” says Camila Ariza, FSU Events and Activities Coordinator.
“Attendees can play cards and chess, enjoy the sounds of acoustic guitar, and indulge in delicious cotton candy,” she adds.
This free connection convention, now in its second edition, will take place on September 14th from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Dundas Place Block 1, between Rideout and Talbot Street.
