Members of the London Police Service have finished an investigation in regards to a shooting that took place on Boullee Street late yesterday afternoon.
On Wednesday, September 11, 2024, at around 4:20 p.m, police received a 9-1-1 call in relation to a possible shooting at a residence in the 300-block of Boullee Street. After arriving, a man was found with an apparent gunshot wound. The suspect left the scene prior to police arrival. The victim was transported to a hospital by paramedic services with serious injuries. The man is still in the hospital with critical injuries.
As a result of the investigation, Cody M Leblanc Ashe, 28, of London, has been charged with one count of attempt murder.
XFM News visited the scene this morning and asked residents near the area What they might have seen or heard. One resident said “I heard shots and i thought it was an air soft gun but turns out it was actually a rifle after the cops showed up”.
We asked another resident how the shooting made here feel and she said ” I was glad it wasn’t closer to my area because i have two grandson’s that are turning a year old so”.
