The City of London is asking for feedback and opinions from Londoners regarding the future of London Transit as part of their Master Mobility Plan.
Currently 19 London Transit routes are taking detours due to ongoing construction within the city.
“The detours make it annoying to bus and they aren’t always on time,” says Amee Omar.
Many transit users are finding the busing to be unreliable.
“I avoid buses in case I do need to be somewhere on time because I can’t trust that it’ll be on time,” says Andrew Szaley.
“The other day I was trying to take the bus and I ended up having a huge delay on my bus,” says Szaley. “When one did show up, it was not going where it was supposed to go and everyone was so mad and I probably waited there for a good 45 minutes to an hour.”
To help Transit users better gauge the delays due to detours and construction, London Transit has added the feature “real time”. This feature can be located on their website.
