Seven residents of Woodstock have been charged after police seized $134,000 worth of drugs in an ongoing trafficking investigation.
On Wednesday, July 10 at 4:45 a.m., members of the Woodstock Police Services Criminal Intelligence and Drug Enforcement Unit searched a series of apartments, where they found crystal methamphetamine, cocaine, and fentanyl. They also found approximately $2000 in cash.
A 49-year-old and 33-year-old are in custody, facing charges of:
- One count of possession of a schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – opioid (other than heroin);
- One count of possession of a schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – cocaine;
- One count of possession of a schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – methamphetamine, and;
- One count of possession of property obtained by crime under $5000
The 33-year-old is also facing charges of failing to comply with a release order.
A 35-year-old and 53-year-old are in custody, facing charges of:
- One count of possession of a schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – fentanyl;
- One count of possession of a schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – methamphetamine;
- One count of possession of a schedule I substance – cocaine, and;
- One count of possession of property obtained by crime under $5000.
A 56-year-old, 44-year-old, and 36-year-old are facing one count of possession of a schedule I substance and released on an undertaking.
