London Police have recovered thousands of dollars worth of weapons and drugs from a suspect accused of stabbing a man on Queens Avenue.
According to London Police, the incident happened on Tuesday evening on Queens Avenue near Adelaide Street. The victim was sent to hospital with serious but not life-threatening injuries. The victim remains in hospital.
Police have charged a 33-year-old man with multiple counts of assault, illegal possession of firearms, and possession of drugs with the intention of trafficking, among other charges.
During the investigation, police executed a search warrant that led to the discovery of a shotgun, a machete, multiple rounds of ammunition, and just over $17,000 worth of drugs that included crystal meth, fentanyl, oxycodone, and morphine.
Police also say the victim and suspect are known to each other.
