“So, in terms of sort of bodily challenges I have a real hard time with circulation in the cold weather. Definitely in my limbs, my hands, my feet that kind of thing, They can get really itchy and really irritated with exposure to the cold itself. Also, I have a hard time staying warm and then getting warm again. Which means that I kind of don’t go outside very much during the Winter”.
Although having a physical disability in the Winter months can be a pain Dr. Jeff Preston shares what he dose to deal with the Winter.

“So I think from a really personal perspective, I invited people over more in the winter, it’s easier for people to come to me generally or, for us to go to places that are not just accessible, but also have the amenities to make sure that I’m able to do what do they need to do. So, good wheelchair parking spots, for instance, ones that have enough room for my ramp to deploy, having access to accessible entrances so, I’m not have to worry about sort of stuff like stairs”.
