In this episode of Almost 107, our guest is Blake Goris, a former D1 lacrosse athlete, who shares his lacrosse journey.
He started playing lacrosse at around age 8 after watching his dad’s friend’s son play for the first time. He was initially drawn to the sport’s physicality, speed, and finesse but fell in love with it as a whole.
He played on travel teams, which took him to various states, such as New Jersey, Baltimore, New York, and Florida. These tournaments helped him get noticed by college scouts.
He eventually made his way to Saint Bonaventure, a division one college.
