The Super Bowl game against the Kansas City Chiefs and the Philadelphia Eagles is set to take place this Sunday, and Fanshawe students are hoping to see the Philadelphia Eagles take home the victory.
“If I’m being completely honest, I’m just hoping that the Eagles win the Super Bowl this year. Solely because I think the Chiefs have had their turn a few times in a row now and I think that the Super Bowl has kind of lost its main meaning and fun behind it just because now Taylor Swift is so involved because of Travis Kelce,” said a third year Fanshawe Student.
But on top of excitement for the actual game, students are most looking forward to the half time show.
“I’m really excited to see the halftime show with Kendrick Lamar. I kind of have it laid out how I think that he’s going to open it. So kind of seeing if my guesses are right is really exciting,” a Fanshawe Media student said.
Kendrick Lamar is headlining the halftime show this year, after winning 5 Grammy’s at the recent award show.
“I am most excited about seeing the Eagles win. Aside from being excited about that, I’m also very excited about the halftime show,” a second year Fanshawe student added.
The Super Bowl is set to take place this Sunday, beginning at 6:30 p.m..
