I am counting down the days until I’m in the big city of Tayronto, and as it’s swiftly approaching, it’s time for me to start packing my bags. Here is everything I’m bringing on the Eras tour. I will be keeping all my items in a small, clear, purse-like bag as per Rogers Center bag guidelines.
ID and Payment Cards
Rogers is a cashless stadium, so having my ID cards and payment cards handy in case I plan on purchasing merchandise, food, or beverages will be helpful.
Portable Charger/Power Bank
The Concert is three hours long, and while I am a firm believer in not recording most of it and just being in the moment, I know I will want a few photos, as well as just having my phone charged for safety reasons, which is why I will be including a small portable charger in my bag.
Hand Sanitizer and Wet Wipes
If you know me personally, you’ll know I’m a clutz, so for good measure, I’ll always include some hand sanitizer/ wipes in case of a spillage.
Ear Protection
This one is one that I’ve given quite a bit of thought to, I know lots of people have been super on the fence as to whether they should or should not wear earbuds/headphones or any ear protection to the concert. Concerts of this magnitude can be very very loud, and seriously damage your hearing, but I know a lot of fans are concerned about if ear protection will take away from the quality of the experience. I’ve seen quite a lot of people say the foam earbuds work well and drown out the cord making it easier to hear Taylor herself. In conclusion, I plan on throwing a pair in my bag, I will try them out and let you know my thoughts after the concert.
Hydration
While there will be plenty of food and drinks available at the Rogers Center, lines can be long, and prices can be high. The Rogers Center is allowing small, sealed water bottles, however, some fans have shared they remove the cap upon entrance so I may throw a spare cap in my bag as well.
Comfy Shoes
This one I’m throwing on here for good measure, not because I’m including it in my bag. I’m wearing some broken-in boots, so my feet should be good! However, for those of you who maybe haven’t had a chance to break in the boots or heels, just remember you’ll be doing lots of standing and dancing, so a pair of ballet flats might be good to have on hand it’s hard to enjoy a concert when you’re in pain.
stay tuned this week as we get ready together for closing weekend. For all things Taylor, check out the rest of the “Talking Taylor” series right here on 106.9 The X.
