June 6th marks the third anniversary of the terrorist attack that took the lives of four members of the Afzaal family and left one orphaned.
As part of the remembrance of the event, the London Muslim community is hosting a vigil on the anniversary of the attack.
The City of London is in support of the vigil and is handing out signs to Londers to support the Muslim community. The Our London Family Flag will be raised at city hall and the London Health Sciences Center.

For those who wish to attend, the vigil happens at South Carriage Road west of Hyde Park Road at 7:45 p.m. on July 6th. South Carriage Road will be fully closed from Hyde Park Road to Prince of Wales Gate from 11 a.m. to approximately 10 p.m. to accommodate the vigil.
The convicted Nathan Veltman, 23, has filed an inmate notice of appeal, attempting to overturn the jury’s decision.
