A London man has been arrested after an investigation by the Human Trafficking Unit.
A London Police news release says the investigation began in February when the man contacted a woman about sexual services she was advertising online. The man allegedly agreed to meet the woman at a hotel. Police say a dispute arose between the two, and the accused allegedly assaulted another woman who tried to intervene.
A man was arrested on May 6th. A search warrant was issued for his home.
Police say they seized 81 grams of cocaine, 28 oxycodone pills, four hydromorphone capsules, $315, and three cell phones.
Dylan Barclay Broadbent, 31, has been charged with Assault, obtaining sexual services, and three drug-related charges.
Broadbent is scheduled to appear in court on May 28th, 2024.
Police believe there may be more alleged victims. They’re asking people to contact them if they have any information related to the investigation, or if they had dealings with the accused.
