Dozens showed up at St. Joseph’s Hospice in London, honoring people who have passed.
The Light Up the Night event allowed participants to buy lanterns and write messages. Lanterns were then lit up and displayed.
“I miss her so much,” said Sophia, a participant with her messages carried on the lantern. “You don’t realize how important someone is until she’s gone.”
The event gave participants an opportunity to remember and honor their passed loved ones.
The money raised will be used for St. Joseph’s Hospice’s operations and community services in London.
The event had hot cocoa bar and live music. The organizers hope that the event meant something for people and that warms their hearts.
