
A London Girl Guide organizer is urging volunteers and supporters to change their social media profile to the blue candle, an enduring emblem of friendship and togetherness for Guides around the world, following a crash in London in which some Guide members were among the 10 victims. A blue candle has become a simple iconic symbol for guides reeling from a shocking London crash that killed an either year old girl.
Stunned by a devastating and a heart breaking crash, in which a vehicle jumped the curb and struck pedestrians, including an 8 year old little girl. The thames valley board has said four of its pupils were among those injured. The 9-year-old who had died was a student at the Thames Valley District School Board (TVDSB). The London District Catholic School Board has also issued a statement, as one of the victims attended Notre Dame Catholic Elementary School in the Oakridge neighbourhood.
