Vaccine passports are beginning their roll-out, meaning you will now have to provide proof of vaccination to enter businesses such as gyms or restaurants.
For those who don’t have physical proof of vaccination, the Ontario Health has a website where you can enter some personal information and receive your vaccine receipts digitally.
For those who don’t have access to a computer, however, the Middlesex-London Health Unit and the London Public Library are here to help.
“For those that don’t have a printer or computer at home, the library just announced today, the London Public Library, they would offer help for people that need to print out the vaccine receipts,” Dr. Chris Mackie explained during a Tuesday press conference.
“If you call the health unit and need help. We’ll do our best to connect you with a way to get that receipt printed as well.”
With this roll-out also comes a new enforcement overhaul, with more public health inspectors during both daytime and evening hours.
The health unit has been receiving and answering any questions about the passport through their hotline, allegedly receiving 730 calls the first day it was open.
Dr. Mackie also informed press of a web conference explaining the passport in greater detail.
“We also have a webinar that we will be offering a high level overview and then question and answers with businesses that we’re offering in partnership with the Chamber of Commerce. That will be Thursday evening, and we’ll look forward to having some good discussions there as well.”
On top of the vaccine passports, the class 22 orders that are going into effect Thursday afternoon hope to curb the rising cases.
