London police say a man has been arrested after allegedly lunging towards an officer with a knife.
Officials say the incident happened around 9:15 a.m. Monday morning when officers attended to a Beckworth Avenue address to arrest a suspect in connection to another police report.
Upon arrival, police say a man at the residence allegedly lunged at one of the police officers with a knife.
Officials say the officer used a conductive energy weapon, and arrested the man.
London paramedics were called, and police say the suspect was cleared medically and transported to cells.
A knife has been recovered, and the officer did not sustain physical injuries, according to police.
The suspect’s identify has yet to be released.
