Chair of the London Police Services Board, Mo Salih, announced that Chief John Pare will be retiring.
Chief Pare’s retirement will start on June 28, 2019 after 33 years of service.
“His deep passion for this community and the London Police Service, his vast experience and dedication to his profession will be greatly missed,” said Chair Salih.
The Board will be looking for Chief Pare’s replacement in the near future.
“As a Board, and as members of the London community, we thank Chief Pare for his valued years of service, exemplary and honourable tenure as Chief of Police and his deep commitment to the community and the London Police Service. We wish him a long, healthy and happy retirement,” said Chair Salih.
