London’s local music scene has their eyes fixed on the light at the end of the tunnel.
Sneaker Club is among local bands looking to make a splash and a good impression this year come Juno week. Made up of front man Dan Wag singing and strumming rhythm guitar, Bryan Dawd smacking the drums, John Gould whaling on lead guitar, and Luke on the bass. This combination of alternative and nostalgia is capturing. Last night they played Rum Runners above London Music Hall to a crowd of a couple hundred.
“This was our first legitimate show I guess, We’ve played Old East Bar few times and the Chum Bucket. But this was our first legitimate venue and it was super tight” ~Bryan Dawd, Drummer for Sneaker Club
The guys of Sneaker Club kept chanting and clapping keeping the crowd very engaged. Especially when frontman Dan Wag got out to do some yoyo tricks in the middle of their set. Sneaker Club says that they have applied to get shows during Juno week and are eagerly awaiting a response.
“Having people clap when you want to clap, and people just moving to our music… its just so awesome.” ~Bryan Dawd
They have a tight set and are ready to shock some ears.
