After the tremendous career of 40-years in comedy industry, Mike MacDonald died Saturday at the age of 62.
The comedian was pronounced dead at the Ottawa Heart Institute due to cardiac complications.
MacDonald was born in France and grew up on military cantonments around the globe. After his father retired, the family settled down in Ottawa.
He was diagnosed with Hepatitis C in 2011 and had a liver transplant.
