Some of the international students at Fanshawe have reported to have been receiving calls from impostors posing as officials from ‘immigration’, ‘police’ and ‘Revenue Canada’, trying to seek personal and financial details.

Fanshawe International Centre is investigating further details about the impostors.
As per the state rule none of the above departments ever seek personal and financial information over the phone.
Students are advised not to divulge any personal details over the phone or email.
