Anderson Craft Ales is a local brewery here in London, it was founded by Gavin and his father Jim Anderson. The company has had quite a successful first year in the business. With recent expansions to their brewing capabilities the company continues to grow.
Gavin started his love for brewing beer back on Christmas day of 2005 when he was gifted a brewing set from his father. Gavin later volunteered at a brewery while attending school. He then went on to become the head of a brewery where he won multiple awards. Then in 2016 Anderson Craft Ales was opened.
The company now brews a variety of different beers including rotational beers based off of the current season.
While Gavin is aware of the competition of local brewery’s in London, his goal is not to outsell these companies. “Our goal is to work together with other brewery’s and to bring awareness of craft beer to increase the market for all of us” says Gavin. “It’s more about us working together against the big guys then it is competition”.
Gavin says that craft brewery offers much more variety than the bigger companies such as Budweiser or Coors. He also notes that the beer is simply better and has a lot more care put into it.
Anderson Craft Ales is now selling beer in many LCBO locations in Ontario as well as multiple bars ranging from Guelph to Windsor.
