Remembrance Day has come and gone, but the sacrifices of Canada’s heroes will not soon be forgotten.
While the ceremonies draw out Londoners of all ages, the younger participants were very serious in their solidarity.
Taking part in Cadets, laying wreaths, or singing the national anthem, there was an undeniable support from youth who wished to show their support in a myriad of ways.
The Catholic Central High School Chamber Choir has taken part in the ceremonies at Victoria Park for years, singing not only the national anthem, but also other songs to honour the memory of veterans.
Students in the choir, rather than taking part out of necessity, expressed a true desire to give back through song.
While passing down traditions can be difficult, the honouring of veterans, past, present, and future, is one that the younger generation seems to embrace with open arms.
