Clovermead is located just outside of London, in Aylmer Ontario; and it isn’t just your average pumpkin patch. Clovermead is an adventure farm with a variety of activities, agriculture, and animal feeding areas.
Clovermead offers school tours for kids during the day. The farm has a variety of activities including pumpkin bowling, pumpkin cannon shooting, hay bail mazes, tractor rides, zip lining and a bouncy area.
The farm has their own bee hives where they collect all natural honey. In school tours students are able to learn about the bee’s and hold the drones as they don’t sting.
Manager and main builder of the farm, Keith Ziekey says that the are always building new things for kids to enjoy. They just finished building a new barn, where they are going to put another maze.
Owner of Clovermead, Chris Hiemstra says that he and his wife came up with the idea for the adventure farm back in 2006. Since then the has had so much success and expanded so much with a variety of new activities each season.
Clovermead is a very welcoming and relaxing atmosphere, with something for everyone to enjoy.
