The Thames Valley District School Board held their regular board meeting Tuesday evening. The issue at hand was the Board’s decision regarding the South-West Middlesex-Accommodation Review.
This would mean that, if the agenda passed, Mosa Central Public School — home to approximately 250 students — would transfer and consolidate with the Ekcoe Public School. The motion was defeated and the school will remain open.
Every vote in the school board meeting was against the school closing. Following the vote, the overflowing boardroom erupted with applause from the public.
